There seems to be a contradiction. To get a special deal, you have to open an account between November 23 and 25? But, you also should have your Electric Orange debit card ready by then, to take advantage of the deals? But you get the card after you open the account. So it's not possible to get the card ready before then, and open the account then.

A whole 1%. So the same as mostly every other rewards card.

So existing account holders get 1% while new account holders get $50 or $107 or whatever the number is this year? But existing account holders would come out ahead using a card that gave more than 1%, and therefore they really get nothing at all from this "Black Friday" deal?
How is it for online deposits? Is it compatible with everything? Such as a PC with 64-bit Win7 and a scanner? Does it take time to set up, and give you a lot of problems till you figure it out?

Loved getting my free money for opening accounts last year! Of all the "free" money I've ever gotten for opening accounts, this was the easiest...deposited/credited right when they said.

Ok so the email so far was for account holders who already have a saving or checking account with a debit card. If you use that card, you get 1% Cash Back but that's not a very good deal. The real deal will come later in the month when they tell you about the FREE MONEY deals for opening other accounts such as kids savings, investment account and such. Look at last years offer in bold that was so easy.
Here is the list of the 2011 ING Direct Black Friday savings: Kids Savings Account - Get a kid started on saving with $27. Electric Orange Checking Account - Avoid checking fees and earn up to $107. Text MONEY Account - Get your teen spending responsibly with $32. ShareBuilder - Invest and get a $100 bonus.Text Retire MyWay (ShareBuilder) - Roll over your old 401(k) and get $100.
