Do they even have any at regular price?
What they mean is any laptop/desktop that regularly sells for $449 or higher, but may or may not be on sale now. For instance they have a nice Lenovo desktop that regularly goes for more than 449$ but is on sale for $400. The coupon would apply to it

Does this work on a Samsung Ativ? It's technically not a "tablet" but is a PC/convertible...something like that.
I guess anything with a touch-screen could be finagled as a "tablet" so it may make for some interesting arguments with the manager.

Your best bet if you want an Ativ is to ask the sales guy if it's a little tablet thingy. When he says "why no, it'a full computer and runs Win8, not RT" you can then whip out the coupon and get $50 off. If he back peddles and says "well, this is really a tablet and the coupon excludes tablets" then you get the manager involved for misleading sales practices.

my bad, you are correct. but may be worth $20 for some to not deal with BF madness. Can always get a $20 credit by bringing in your receipt on Friday after the early rush clears.
