On many of the games you get a $5 credit towards an "editor's choice" game in January. Since a lot of games are under $5, you can make a net profit with the credit (assuming there's something you like in the editor's choice list.)

It worked when I posted it and should work again now (I hope). But you were right, it was broken for a while there.

I saw that and bought it yesterday. I love SS.

Yeah, wow. So I just snagged Dungeon Defenders two pack for $4.99, for a friend and myself. Both of us claimed through Steam, and I check my email and Amazon gave me the $5 credit towards a game download, valid 1/1/13 and after.

Awesome! Great game, for free if I use that credit after the first of the year.

Looks like increased the savings for cyber monday for at least some of the games. Still including the $5 credit.
