Bought the same one last year and already donated it. I'll admit $20 is tempting but it's probably worth paying a bit more for a better one, or at least buying a better filter than the crappy one it comes with.
The final straw for me was when I was vacuuming up a bunch of joint compounding dust and looked behind me at one point to find a huge plume of white dust filling the room...the filter couldn't handle that fine a particle so everything in the room got a nice coat of compounding dust, which took a full day to settle
