I know I missed a great deal yesterday, but I was still researching. I've read reviews that the non-amplified is actually better than the amplified. One reviewer stated he picked up stations 70 miles away!

I agree, was very skeptical when I got this device a month ago. But it works as it says. I am getting channels from a station 90 miles from where I live.

This "deal" sucks. After they add taxes (everywhere?), it's just on-average for the non-amplified Leaf.

I ordered two. One was laminated; one was not. I was glad I bought from the original site. Called, and got a new replacement laminated antenna, and I don't even need to send the unlaminated one back. Glad I stayed with my guts.

Oh, the owner's manual tells you not to put your antenna in the window, but the CS guy was really surprised at that as he told me that was what I should do.
