Monday 11/26 at 7:33 PST - only thing still on sale is the 500 GB block for $18, about 450 of them left
at 30 GB/$1 it's about half the price of blocks from thecubenet's cyber monday sale

500gb for $18 is a good price. I still have 350gb left of my last 500gb purchase last BF.

Does anyone know what servers they use? If they are not astraweb I would be tempted to get the 500gb to use as fills for stuff not found on astraweb.

As of 1831 EST:
The Unlimited Deal
Time Remaining 02:28:24
Quantity Remaining39 of 50
Here's a second chance to get unlimited usenet for a great rate!

Never again worry about reaching your monthly allotment or using up all of your blocks. Unlimited means just that, unlimited usenet access and unlimited speed.

The best features include:
50 SSL Connections
Servers in the US and Europe
30 GB of Online Storage
Access to NGD Member Rewards

Up to $8 monthly, glad I'm still on the trusty old $4 monthly plan from like 2 years back. Solid as a rock, best deal in Usenet IMHO.

1TB for $35 is up

I think that one also came with software.

Do you think that they will also have a cyber monday sale?
What software do you use with it? NewsRover?

P.S. the $3/mo for 60gb is still live.

the $3/mo did not work for me. I think it is oos

It appears they are all sold out. Perhaps cyber Monday will have new deals.

I'm sure they'll have some "offer" or another for "Cyber Monday" ...

As for software, it may have, but I don't recall. I use NewsBin Pro same software I've ran for probably a decade now.

anybody know if they have a web based global search/download queuing interface like easynews does?

Binsearch is your friend. Works with any client that uses nzb's (all of them). It is web browser based but I have used it for a long time now with no problems.

For anyone that missed the 500GB block/$18 deal and still wants it, it's available again:

They're Highwinds, which is different from Astraweb. However, 500 GB is hardly what I'd consider "fill" blocks.

FYI, another Highwinds reseller is TheCubeNet, which has their own cyber money deals (I posted in response to the other newsgroupdirect post which had already sold out of those specials http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/1238509/m17361998/#m17... )

FWIW, I noticed the other newsgroup server I use http://www.thecubenet.com , a Highwinds reseller like Newsgroupdirect) has their own cyber monday deals on.
Block accounts (never expire, single payment, good to setup low GB blocks as fill servers if you use some other host)
25 GB - $1.99
250 GB - $15.99
500 GB - $29.99
750 GB - $43.99

They have some 250 GB/month plan for 7.99/month and a few unlimited plans on sale for about $8/month too.

You can assess your own usage and what works for you, but I find a decently sized block and a nzb website does a great job of meeting my needs vs monthly accounts.

So, I was using nzbmatrix. Any recommendations for a replacement?
