I got this on a special buy at CES when it first came out back in January. It constantly locked up and dropped conenction to my PC, iMac, cell phones and tablets less than 20 feet away. Even when it did work the throughput on my Gigabit network was only about 20Mpbs which is insane these days. I RMAed back to Seagate and the one they replaced it with was even worse. It required rebooting everytime it went into power save mode. I ended up selling it for what I paid at CES. I would avoid this POS at all cost. Instead just get a wireless GoFlex adapter that works with any Seagate GoFlex external drive. That way yo ucan upgrade by simply replacing the drive. I replaced this overpriced POS with a 3TB Seaate Plus and the wireless GoFlex adapter for $150 back in February and it has worked fine.

Did you ever update its firmware? Mine has been rock solid since I got it in the summer.
