When I applied it said it would take 7-10 days though. Not sure if it does that for everyone. I've applied for several new cards today, so that could be the cause.
Also, if it shows up in your cart as $279, that is an error. It can be ordered by phone at 1-877-865-Sony

The price shows at 279.99 at checkout. Looks like only $20 discount from original price of 299.99 Not sure if everyone is seeing same behavior. I really wanted to buy this..... Any help is appreciated

I see you can get the refurbished 8GB model CX210 for $199 through Sony with the same $100 new cardholder offer.
