Landry's Inc offers a Membership/Reward's system on its own, called the Landry's Select Club. You have to sign up for $25, but you get that $25 on a Gift Card/Reward's Card to use just like a gift card. Once you have the card, you get $25 bonus on the month of your birthday (Which they don't check so just put this month if you want to use it right away) via loaded on the card.

So just the LSC card for a $25 investment you get $50 to spend on a meal.

As an additional advantage, you get 1 point for every $1 spent on the card, so when you reach 250 points or $250 spent cumulatively, you get an additional $25 loaded on your card.

So here is what I did.

When my family went out to Claim Jumper to eat last night, I went in and purchased $250 worth of gift cards, and joined the club for $25. Now you can't use the $25 reward you get on your Landry's Select Card that night, but you can use your $250 worth of Gift Cards. So when I purchased the card, I got an additional 5 $10 reward cards to use on a future visit. I then got 250 points on my Landry's Select Card for $250 spent. We sat down and had our meal which ended up being $280. (we had 10 in the party) When we were paying our bill, I used the $250 worth of Gift Cards I purchased, and to my surprise, I got another 280 points loaded on my Landry's Select Card (which was the price of the meal). So basically I got double points. So overall here is what I got

For a $275 investment,

Landry's Select Card with $25 sign up bonus $25 Birthday Bonus, 530 points = $50 in another Bonus. = $100 total dollars to use on a future visit or multiple visits.

5 x $10 reward gift cards to use on a future visit = $50

$250 worth of gift cards I used immediately. = $250

So I got $400 worth of money to spend on a $275 investment.

I personally feel it was a good deal because I had to spend the money anyways, but this way I got an extra over $100 to spend at Morton's Steak House the next time I go to get some good steak.
