According to the review linked by Alik99: The IPS on this model makes for good viewing angles, but the compromise of this monitor is the low resolution 1920 x 1080 max ( 1920 x 1080 max on a 27" monitor is a low resolution)
But it is a 27" if you're willing to compromise on resolution you get a lot of screen size.

tnx op - in for 2 - perfect timing - one of my 24" just died today - ended up getting them from Amazon @ 309 - no tax - free next day shipping. The 10% coupon code wouldnt work - they offered to give me $30 off if I bought 2, it was still more expensive w/ the tax and Dell shipping.
