It's a shame that they are putting Netbook CPUs into desktop computers. It's an even bigger shame that they are not putting HDMI outputs on computers using an APU.
You used to be able to get a 2.5-3.0Ghz dual-core of a prior generation in a $300 desktop. What happened? Now it's just a 1.4Ghz low-power dual-core (slower clock for clock than prior-gen CPUs).
If you need a desktop, and are on a budget, then I suppose this should be considered, but also consider that I was able to get a G630 slimline Gateway system at Staples for $200 + tax after coupon. That's a 2.7Ghz dual-core, with 4GB RAM and 500GB HD too. And it has HDMI output.

i was doing research online comparing desktop deals on bestbuy.com, Amazon.com, frys.com, and microcenter.com and i assumed bestbuy.com had the lowest desktop price. i mised out on bf deals. i helped an acquantiance buy this computer a few hours ago using a cc. i wonder if i should return/cancel/exhcnage the purchase, or buy another desktop. darn. and i thought this was a hot deal!

It's not a bad deal, by any means, although you could get a faster laptop for the same price. (Intel pentium B970/B980, etc.)
I was just posting that as a reference, to compare how hot this deal is, with that deal. Unfortunately, that deal is long gone.
Personal, I feel someone would be much better served with an A6 APU in a desktop, than a Netbook CPU like in this one. Price would be a little higher, probably around $350. At least I think last night I saw a deal for a $350 A6 desktop.
