I haven't used these, yet, but I had a bad experience with ones from eBay. The seller ended up refunding all the money because they were all burned out after 2-3 months.

My guess would be that the LED's them selves were fine, but the power supplies/drivers were crapping out. Lights would blink for a day, and then flicker, and then just have faint glow. Even when you turned the power off, they would still glow for a minute or two.

I hoping these last longer, and closer to the rated 25,000 hours.
