It states unit does not come with charging case. Anyone know what that means? Can you still charge this without the case?

Yes, it has MicroUSB. That said - one of these without the case is odd so these are clearly overstock from Plantronics or some weird bulk version. Alternatively, they could be fakes like you'll find on most high end headsets - with a third party seller like this it wouldn't surprise me.
