I use one of these cameras for mountain biking and skiing. The camera is very easy to use and high-definition video quality is excellent. Compares very well to mid-range GoPro cameras that cost twice as much.
The camera comes with attachments to mount to a ski helmet or goggles. Different types of mounts are available separately (eg bicycle handlebars). The camera also has a standard tripod mount on the bottom.

Thanks. Great find. I did a Google shopping search and there were a few listed at $80. But when you clicked through it was for mounting kits, not the camera. $99 looks like the best price out there.

Note that these do not support anything higher than 30fps after the firmware upgrade to fix audio issues (prior to that there was a workaround by editing a file to allow 60fps, which was not supported by the manufacturer).
If you have poor (and I mean dismal) audio quality issues, you should see their firmware page:
Date posted: 1/24/2012 Release Notes: Microphone Audio - Some cameras were recording low audio in indoor and outdoor environments. Changes were made to the Automatic Level Control, Input Gain, and Equalizer to improve performance over a range of environments. Installation using Storyteller The easiest way to update your firmware is by using the free Storyteller application available here: ...
Note that installing this FW will not allow you to use the 60fps "hack".
Also, this is an older model. Amazon Reviews here. FWIW, Amazon has this cam right now for $120 and it is an older model.

Amazon had it for $100 a week or so ago. Hopefully they will match....

How useful is 60fps, especially if you're sharing your videos via YouTube?

That depends on what you need to use it for, 60fps is helpful to smooth out action, and there are some cool effects that can be added using editing software with the higher frame rate. IMHO, for a cam like this, 60fps should be required, but that is just one person's opinion - and you know what they say about that
