I think this is the brand of short grain Costco used to sell, and was truly wonderful.

Wholefood sales this brand too...very good quality product. BUT, I buy 20 lbs bags brown rice from Asian markets for $13 which makes it 65 cents a pound. Can't imagine spending close to $3/lb for brown rice.

But is it ORGANIC or ECO-FARMED? If not, it is probably heavily sprayed with cancer-causing pesticides.
