I guess its a good price but didnt US broadcast TV go digital signal in 2008 ? what are the dual analog tuners picking up??

Cable companies still send out analog signals.. all the channels aren't digital only. Cable companies don't broadcast over the air, they use "cables". Who uses an analog tuner with a broadcast antenna anyway? These have always been for cable. You can also input any signal, such as from a VCR.

I use an analog tuner with a broadcast antenna. Why? Because I'm cheap. I only want to buy one tuner. I can pick up digital broadcasts with the converter that I got free. I can pick up analog broadcasts. Don't ask me why they're still floating around, but they are. I can use it on basic cable boxes and anything with an S-video output. This device also has hardware compression for recording what you pick up.
