Samsung 840 Pro SSDs are down in price across the board at Newegg, the indications are these are the new normal prices for them.
These the lowest standard prices for 840 Pros so far, although we have seen lower sale prices at times.

These are rather bare kits, no brackets or adapters. Still, SATA standardized the power and data connectors between 3.5" and 2.5" so you won't need adapters to connect them. You might need mounting brackets, or you can just say the drive in there as some do. Not like it vibrates or anything.

Just this weekend they had a coupon code that brought the 128GB down to $120 and 256GB to $240.

Yeah, but this is the first big drop on the 512GB. It was $600 three days ago, $575 yesterday (and still that price in most places) and now $500. A big drop.
