keep in mind two things: 1. These like a slow charge rate, up to 350 mAh is good. Higher rate will cook them fairly fast. 2. They're only half charged as delivered from the factory. Time is money so they don't. Slap into your charger if you want fully charged batteries.

Charge rates of 1000mA have been shown to be fine with Eneloops but the charger has to properly cut off. Cooking them can happen at any charge level, that's why "dumb" chargers are to be avoided.
2. Legally they're not allowed to ship fully charged batteries. The concern is the batteries could short and catch fire if the packaging was severely damaged. Not really a serious concern with NiMH but the law is written to be better safe than sorry.
