These things are a joke. Great if you like your food brightly lit. Not so great if you like it cooked.

I saw this item during BF. It's like a mini version that mom uses. The real thing works really well - my mom roasts chicken in it and it comes out like a rotissarie chicken with nicely brown skin. However, not sure what good is a smaller size.

Nothing more the a souped-up easy-bake oven. It uses a 750W halogen lamp to cook the food.

We have used these (actually Infra-Chefs) for years, and wouldn't be without one!! They cook awesome. If you think they're a joke, you haven't used one.
