Debenu PDF Tools (formerly known as Quick PDF Tools) is a free Windows utility built using Debenu’s Quick PDF Library for working with PDF files.
Just right-click on a PDF in Windows Explorer and select the ‘Debenu Quick PDF Tools’ menu item to see the list of features.
It’s simple to use and will let you preview PDF files, merge PDF files, edit document properties, add and edit custom metadata, convert images to PDF, convert PDF to text and much more.
Download the free version of the software from the link and it will contain an html file with the serial for the Pro version. The Pro version is originally marked $59.00. It looks like a good software if you want to convert PDF files instantly into a text or image file.
The link in the OP mentions going to Facebook to "like" the company on the second page after clicking "Download Now" on the first page. It's not necessary - just click "Download Now". A zip file will be downloaded that contains the exe file as well as the serial.

you can download the pro trial and add key to that too just in case they removed some features from giveaway version. They may not have, but surely they wouldn't in a trial promoting you to buy.

Thanks & you're right ; it does work the way you said. I'm wondering if the sfwe is RAM resident (which would not be good) ; or is this just some file association thing. Anyone know ?

This is not a one day promotion -- the download has contained the license key since October, and the software has been free since then...
