this is a decent deal for a sigma lense. Sigmas have great optics and should be part of the arsenal for every professional photographer. We just came back from Big Bend National park and we had the opportunity to use a similar lense for landscape photography. Another interesting way to secure a similar lense is to buy it used on eBay
