Our family already has two iPads, two Nexus 7 and each member has a smartphone. I don't think we need another device (or two). But, if we did need another device, this would have been a great offer.
I guess B&N (and MS) are fighting to stay relevant, as Apple, Amazon & Google seem to be taking the whole market.
