Do you feel these would be acceptable for an engineer to wear at work? Hopefully I can blend in and no one can ask me questions!

Not sure. They have a style where the camo section is black. I'm thinking you could probably find some material paint and paint the camo if you like. Certainly a little bit of a reach though. They're not steel toe, if you need that.

You'd only pull it off with a yellow tank top and then cargo shorts and lederhosen. And sweatbands, of course.
