Just FYI, if you have a library card. Chances are your public library gives you access to both eBooks for free (neither books are new, relatively speaking). But there is usually a waiting list.

Thanks OP. I've read The Hobbit several times, but I love it so much that I'd like to have it available on my devices as well so that I can read it anytime.

I've looked for The Hobbit in my book collection several times recently, and never did find it. For $1.99, I bought the eBook version.

I highly recommend the Life of Pi. It takes about 50 pages to get into it, but really a unique and interesting book.

I use the library all the time for my kindle. It's awesome, up to 21 day loan, it comes wi-fi and expires without me going anywhere near the library. Which is good because ours has terrible parking.

That said, this is a great deal!

*sigh* Unfortunately it is exactly why library ebooks have a long waiting list. Because people do not return their books early even when they are done.
