in stock, but pricey

You guys keep buying and jacking up all the prices...!

Gold is pricey; this is over the top.

Looks like $1.25/round for Wolf .223 shipped. Thanks for posting the ammo find though OP.

Just bought 6 boxes of 7.62 at WalMart for $5 a box. Just keep looking in box stores. Don't give into bad deals like this.

The owner of this small shop has always had fair pricing. He is only charging what his distributors are demanding and still below gouging prices. What happens when he has a lot in stock and market prices come back down? He loses out on all of that he paid the distros. Howie is an honest business man.

I'm not convinced. Plenty of other deals have popped up at a fraction of this price. Small local shops are selling at $8-10 a box. No way he's being forced to sell for twice that.

There is nothing wrong about this deal. Right now "availability" is a deal by itself. If you have a problem with your past, you better buy now because if the new regulations ask for background checks on ammunition sales then a) you might not be longer able to purchase at all b) all ammunition sales will go trough an FFL dealer (10-50$ premium) plus extra time wasted to go here and there.

Second, if you follow the link, you can notice that not all prices are that bad. For example Makarov Pistol 9mm rounds are very reasonable priced 350$/1500rd.

This. Look, this is a crappy price. But when an item is nearly completely unavailable at any price, then the mere availability of an item is "a deal".

There are better deals on my local gun boards for ammo. Private sellers who are selling at multiples of the price that they purchased.... still better than this.

Ok! Want a good priced stuff ? Here we are. A little bit of a specialty cartridge but sold at a really good price.

Prvi Partizan 7mm Remington Magnum 140 grain PSP BT for 18.95$/20rd @PSA

Never never I seen this cartridge being priced so low. Even pre AWB bubble prices were higher!

Made in Serbia by Prvi Partizan

Thanks for the post about the 9mm ammo Stas1976

It's a very bad deal. There are plenty of places with it available or rotating stock. For instance-

1000 rds for $349 for HP ammo. Again, don't fall for these horrible deals. Be patient if you can and find the real deals. $1 a round is asinine. Especially considering there will be no legislation on ammo.
