Thanks, OP! These are great for getting permanent marker off of plastic. I buy used video games, and there is usually writing on the plastic case. A little spray cleaner like 409 and a rub with a Magic Eraser and it's gone.

Can this be used to remove the gunk from aluminium cooking utensils? Is it advisable to clean something that is used for cooking infact? Never used these so....
