This is a good price on a great 1TB drive - I got one when they were $74.99 and love it.

Saw this sale 2 days ago. Couldn't get it online because I wanted to use a Staples Gift Card (from the Soda Stream thread before Christmas) and those are currently unable to be used online.
This drive is really good. I love the Buffalo Ministation drives (the Extremes, with the built-in cable, are best, imho, but I like them all, especially for this price).

Went into the store, to order through the kiosk this morning. Unable to find the drive in their internal kiosk system. Tech there tried it on a few different systems, different ways. I had it on my phone, so knew it was still there.

Bottom line was that I came home and ordered it online using my rewards I had saved up and used the gift card in the store for something else for my son.

So, if you want this drive, at this really good price, don't waste your time going into the store to do the kiosk ordering...just order it online and save yourself a headache

Just ordered it online this AM but the $3 instant savings did not come off. I had to call and ask them to manually remove the $3. Check to make sure you were charged the correct price of $69.99

In for 2. Had $25 off $75 mailer I've been waiting to use. Discounts come off at checkout.

why not get this? cheaper per gb. Text

More portable, does not need a power supply. Internal drive most likely can be removed and used in a laptop or PS3. Personal preference.

Nice drive and I have some Staples GCs to burn. Will return/rebuy with GC strategy work?

FYI that they have it on special (same price, etc) again: Offer Expires on 02/23/2013

I set the computer to transfer from an older Seagate external backup to one of my Buffalo (similar to this one) last night. I trust these a lot more than the larger ones that are more prone to failed drives and other internal problems (heat, component issues, etc).

I have about 8-9 of these Buffalo drives and love them all. Have a few more (larger, other brand, externals) that I need to move my backup files to....the pics are pretty important and I don't trust the seagates.
