Wow - nice deal!

I was looking for the tribune on Sunday last night and the best discount I could find was 13 weeks for $12.87 = $51.48 for the year.

This is a decent deal only if you don't have miles. If you have miles you don't mind redeeming for a 3-month subscription, then you call to cancel at the end of the 3rd month and they offer you a $1/week (W,F,Sun).

That said, days of buying a newspaper for content are long over. The only reason to buy a paper now is for the fliers and coupons and any ads you want to check out.
