If you like the product, then fine. Just be aware that 'bonded leather' is really mostly a artificial product (vinyl, latex, etc), with typically only about 17%* leather fibers. Personally, I question if the product would be any different if they got rid of the leather scraps altogether.

It is cheap. We bought one and it broke after a few weeks of moderate usage. You have to assemble it yourself - FYI.

Not to disagree that any 'furniture' you purchase at Target will be cheap, but bonded leather encompasses a broad class of products from low the end, nearly vinyl stuff to higher end, buttery soft leather. Bonded leather is not just a method to process scraps into cheap coverings, it allows larger pieces to be fashioned and good pieces with imperfections to be used rather than being tossed. If it's well made, feels like good leather and not vinyl, and I can't visually distinguish it, I'm cool with saving $$$ for bonded leather.
