if RIM, eh blackberry want to compete in the smartphone market $629 will not get it done 3G device though, I would have expected a 4G release from them I do like the device OP thanks for sharing
Hold off. Sense they will be half or less in 6-8 months. Blackberry lost exclusivity with govt contracts recently and they are bleeding more and more each day. Firesale coming, hopefully they go the way of the palm pixi and we can snatch em up on the bay for $30 in a year or so to put on page plus .
They are 4G devices. I have four of them sitting on my desk at the moment.
For $600+ they're not worth it. They have some interesting features but nothing revolutionary that would warrant a rush-out-and-buy-it-no-matter-the-cost mindset. If the carriers don't get the contract pricing close to zero this is going to be a non-starter for most.
