Will this make-a-the-spicy-a-meat-a-ball?

lol...

hmmm, my family has been just fine with rolling 'balls' and cooking them on a cookie sheet for decades. i only see frustration from the standpoint that my 'balls' will probably come out cooked differently, and people will not enjoy my 'balls' as much as before.

maybe good for tako-yaki?

As Alton says.... "Uni-tasker"!!!

That's it! I was trying to think of a term for this kind of thing. Thanks to the OP for trying and to yakky for the laugh (and attribution).

If you want a slightly healthier meatball, roll them in to a ball slightly larger than opening in a muffin pan. Bake them in the oven and the fat/grease will pool in the pan. Obviously better fried, but to each their own.

I like meatballs.
That's all.

How bout Schweddy Balls?
