Our local pharmicist takes the stand that this DOES NOT APPLY to state or federal workers as he interprets the snall print that way....

zettler, if your insurance is "private" even if you are a government worker (ie PPO thru Aetna, Blue Cross, etc.) he has no grounds to refuse you.

Government program is subsidized or full paid ins. for private citizens (Medicare, Medicaid, and having to show THAT card)

presenting a card from Blue Cross or United Health, etc that is paid for as part of your COMPENSATION for your job, is not a "program".

I suggest you go over his head to a district manager or corporate and fight it. another classic example of people making up their own policies out of thin air.

I agree but sometimes the effort isn't worth it or other issues take priority....

yeah, understand, if you can find some free time, for $100 in GC's I think I'd do it. or perhaps get a letter from the insurance carrier you are covered with stating it is considered "private" and not government subsidized insurance since it's for an employee. that might be easier than making 3-4 phone calls.

Better yet, just hit a different K-Mart for the CGs and than transfer them back to your closer one.

This seems restricted to members with Sears' version of Prime, Shop-Your-Way

And if they have your info, have dispensed your Rx (it will be too much trouble to move it back again, no?) who do you think is ging to collect that $25 X4 =$100 every time they can get a federal employee to react as you did? You wouldn't happen to be around the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area, would you? That would be rich!

no, not restricted to prime. got this offer in my email and I'm not prime.

Is it possible to use these gift cards for online purchases?
