This looks like a pretty good deal:

This is the previous version of the following laptop with a slightly slower processor:

That would be a deal to me if the screen frame is not glossy.

I'll let you know, but I won't be getting mine until next Tuesday.

From this picture, screen frame is black and may be a little glossy:

http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/1262510/ seems like a better deal if you want computing power rather than portability.

I'm getting it for my bedroom -- I need a backlit keyboard, quick resume (SSD), and a light, cool chassis (for sitting on my chest while surfing the Internet). I'm writing this from a Qosmio X870 that I got around Christmas. It is in my home office and I use it for gaming (currently Borderlands 2), but I don't want to have it next to my bed.

I just got the laptop. It works great and is very nice to have by the bed. No more bending the screen down to see the keys!

Decent deal, but if you shop around... On Saturday, Staples sold me a 15.6" Toshiba L855 Core i7-3630QM, 6GB RAM, 640GB HD for $475 and I had a $100 off coupon which made it $375. Even without the coupon Staples was a better deal. It pays to go in Staples (and other stores) to see what they have.

I'm sure they had great deals on chairs and paper too, but those wouldn't have met my requirements either.

I was looking for backlit keyboard, SSD cache, and thin & light. Did yours come with any of that?

Great deal, by the way, but not what I was looking for.
