Do they have service in Massachusetts?

You have to call with your exact address. 1-888-978-6502

Some people can get it in Massachusetts: http://www.yelp.com/biz/dish-network-boston-boston-2

It seems all cable/internet companies have awful reviews:

Comcast - http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=comcast&find_loc=Boston%2C+...

Direct TV - http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=comcast&find_loc=Boston%2C+...

RCN - http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=rcn&find_loc=Boston%2C+MA&n...

What sort of speeds do they offer?

It says, "high speed," but they didn't have it at my address so I don't know.

Lots and lots and lots of fine print. It's also hard to find the fine print. For instance, it REQUIRES a TWO YEAR contract to get the advertised price, and then the price goes UP the second year.

I called. they told me there is no promotion in my area. I am living in MA. They said my area have 15M pbs downloaidng speed for $59.99 per month for two years contract.

Dish Network might:

-allow free downgrades after promo period
-have cancellation fee of $20 for each remaining month

I wanted to switch to dish network but my address didn't qualify. IF YOU CAN FIND A BETTER/SIMILAR DEAL POST IT, because I'm still looking.

too much fine print

I tried, TRIED, to find the deal. Going to the Dish web site indeed shows an image saying 'High Speed Internet now available, starting at $14.95*'. But, it's not a link, and the DishNet page shows prices starting at about $40/mo, WITH bundled service, WITH a 2-year contract, WITH an additional $10 'equipment lease fee', and WITH data limits. So by the time you add all that up, that's nowhere near $15/mo. I'd venture to guess you'd spend at least $70 including TV service.

They do if you call. I know because I called.

Two years contract is actually good if you consider that you are paying a low rate for 24 straight months!!!

I live in a rural area where Dish offers DSL through Frontier (formerly Verizon) at a blazing 768kps.

good price

Be careful with third party contracts because their contract terms are added on top of Dish's contract. For example, if you have to cancel early you would have to pay Dish cancellation fees plus the third party's cancellation fees, etc.

When I called, I was connected to customer service quickly, the call was recorded, customer service gives an employee id number, and then I asked about the "total cost" including installation, equipment and anything else. Then asked a similar question about "total cancellation costs" including everything such as return of equipment.

I got an answer for clear wireless instead of dish network.

rip off deal.
