Many people (me included) have remarked that a 5" Garmin takes up too much window space and gets somewhat in the way. The 4" Garmin seems to be the sweet spot in terms of size. Big Rig drivers, on the other hand, seem to get along fine with the 5" model, since they have larger windshields and the unit is farther away.

I drive a truck and the 5" is perfect.

I had a 4" and now have a 5". Between the two, I like my 5" better. I mount mine in the lower left corner of my windshield though so it's not in my line of sight. Maybe that would solve your problem.

This looks like a good deal OP. Thanks!

Yeah, and that is for a refurbished one and I didn't go through checkout but I doubt shipping is free. So, the option is a brand new one for $135.99 from a reputable seller, on eBay or a used/refurb one from tiger direct for about the same price.

My sister just got a 5" and she drives a compact car. She loves it and has never complained about the size taking up too much window space. I guess it is all about your personal preference.
