Ive had great results using the TN-360 on my HL-2170W , and so far the toner(s) have lasted a long time once you do the tape trick .

What is the "tape trick?"
Thanks

That's the equivalent of putting tape over the check engine light on your car 's dashboard.

I've got the 2270dw and snagged a toner for $20. Thanks OP.

Does this brand of tn360 "reset" the counter so it doesn't keep signaling out of ink?

How to reset toner count:

First open the printer’s front panel, lifting the cover where you can access the toner.
Next press the Clear/Back button. Doing so will pop out a dialogue box “REPLACE DRUM? 1.Yes 2.No”
With the two options available do not type in either 1 or 2! Instead, type in *00 (asterisk+00) on the printer’s keypad and you should be rewarded with a prompt as “Accepted”.
Now the last thing to do is to close the front door/panel, and allow your printer to initialize for a moment or so.
If everything work out just fine, your toner counter is successfully reset.
