38% off! Mount your $500 iPad to a toddler toilet! What a great idea for such a great price. There must be good apps to handle the cries of "will you wipe me????"

Where is the adult version?

Customer Questions & Answers
Q: Seriously, is this necessary?
A: Dunno. I used dollar store stickers for my kids and they potty trained just fine.

Q: Society reaches a new low. Then starts digging. Why?
A: 'Murca.

Q: Can grown-ups use this?
A: No, this for children.

Funny idea.

Honestly, it's not all that horrible.

My 21 month old recently started going potty. We often bribe her with treats (raisins, mini-marshmallows, etc) for her to go. This is very common and most, if not all, child care specialists and doctors will admit to condoning "bribing" when potty training.

We also let her play with the iPad in the morning for a bit most days...outside of that we barely give her any "screen time" yet.

When on the potty though, she goes #1 right away.  Sometimes we read to her on the potty and have coaxed out a #2 once or twice.

So, with those factors considered - you would think this idea isn't so ridiculous....but....for some reason...it still is.

Didn't one of the late night show made fun of this recently? Jimmy?

How to Sit
Disclaimer
Butters says that is the proper way to sit on the toilet.

Great findings.....

Anyone with a need to integrate an iPad.. just the iPad cradle portion of it is worth $25!

You gonna love it until you have to clean some dudu of you iPad.

Nothing new there.  In the same vein that the most highly contaminated item in a hotel room is usually the remote control or that phone receivers spread colds.

Many people don't wash their hands after wiping their butt...those hands go right to their phone.  But, don't worry it also goes right to their pens. laptop keyboards, door handle on the cab, your hand when you shake with them, oh, and lets not forget the inside of bowling balls...

Idiocracy here we come.

Not that I have any use for one... but how is this any different than people reading books/magazines on the toilet?

..or use an iPad on the toilet...which don't lie - if you have an iPad, you are likely using it on the toilet...I know I use mine.

The outrage seems to be with either:
a) a child using an iPad - which is ridiculous.  While you should limit screen time of kids, especially those under 2, this is 2013... kids using tablets is common.
b) with a parent neglecting their child's potty training by just sitting them there with the iPad.  The idea being that you should be interacting more with your child through this learning experience.

AFAIC, if this thing entertains your kid for 5 minutes so he remains on the potty and actually makes - then I think it has done its job.

Most of the people writing negative comments about this probably don't have kids.

Personally, I wouldn't buy it - as I would prefer to read to my child or to try and train them to "$hit or get off the pot" but with everything else in today's day and age, I don't fundamentally have an issue with it.
