Unless there is another CURRENT deal listing this cheaper than $16.85, this input is irrelevant and useless

At least 3 established third-party sellers (that are Amazon filled for cheaper) on this products seller page. Thinking the "current" market price is a hot deal..is irrelevant and useless.

$0.20? Get real...

I fully agree with you.  20 cents...in either direction, over/under the current rate, makes this not a hot deal.

The included power supply is only 2 amps (and some reviewers have said that it only puts out 1.5 amps). To properly drive this, you will most likely need a 5 or 6 amp power supply, like this. http://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Power-Supply-LCD-Monitor/dp/B003TUMDWG/ref=pd_sim_e_5

Can the amp handle the 5 or 6 amps ?

I just got one last week with a 3A wall wart, so YMMV.  This thing really  really does a nice job pushing a set of bookshelf speakers.  I was thoroughly impressed with what you get for 16$, don't expect it to be anything it is not.

This review seems to make sense: http://www.amazon.com/review/R322PKCUXLIWHL/ref=cm_cr_pr_cmt?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B0049P6OTI&linkCode=&nodeID=&tag=#wasThisHelpful

Side note on the power supply - I concur about the power supply.
The reviews for the power supply upgrade to 4-6 amps makes a huge difference.

I had an old 12VDC  6A that is overkill, much better sound more bass and less distortion.
The amp performs so well now, no more cutout from an undersized PS.
I have owned this little amp for about 1 year, paid $19.29 for it from A M A Z O N .
CCC has the lowest listed 1@ $15.96 on 12-19-2013.

Few dollar swing meh.... awesome investment for cheap = FTW!

needs caps mods to become great.
