Waldbaums and Coin Star are running a promotion until Thursday, 3/20.  When you exchange $40 (doesn't have to be coins, can be two twenties) you can get a $40 gift card to Sears (or about 20 other retailers) and a $10 gift card to Waldbaums.  The Waldbaums gift card is good until early April.  There are about 20 gift cards you can choose from (Toys R Us was one of them, don't remember them all).  I put $120 in the machine (3 separate transactions) and got 3 $10 certs and 3 $40 Sears certs.  The Waldbaums certs can be used on any purchase over $10, one per order.  I had $30 of groceries and split them up into three orders.  The Sears cert is a regular eGift Card that you can redeem on line or in store.

TY OP.

I've been saving coins hoping for a coinstar deal.

Dependent on where you're cashing out. From the Coinstar site:

*$10 Grocery Store Coupon Promotion Terms and Conditions

Read the following terms carefully to see how you can receive and use a $10 coupon for participating stores!

Receive a bonus $10 grocery coupon on your Coinstar voucher when you convert at least US $40 in coins in a single transaction towards these Coinstar products: Cash voucher, NO FEE eCertificate, or Charity at participating stores (see complete list here). Offer available 3/7/14 - 3/20/14 at participating stores: A&P, Food Basics, Food Emporium, Pathmark and Waldbaum’s.

Coupons have a $10 cash value for redemption at participating stores and may not be sold or transferred. Coinstar is not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen coupons so be sure to keep your voucher that includes the coupon bar code. Coupon may be used through 4/3/14.

Multiple $10 coupons from this program cannot be combined in one order, but can be combined with other coupons. Total on the redeeming purchase is based on net. Therefore, the total is calculated after all discounts, tax and items prohibited by law. Items prohibited by law include (but not limited to) pharmacy prescriptions, alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, tobacco products, gift cards/certificates, money orders/transfer, postage stamps, tokens, transit passes, lottery tickets, milk.

Where is Waldbaums?

Perhaps you could add New York to the title to save us the trouble of looking up these stores.

Hopefully this is a sign that Coinstar will have some deals in other regions for those of us that don't live in the center of the universe.
