Not to be a Debbie Downer, but I bought these the last time and they are just awful! Katy Perry awful. I run ~20 miles/week and these provided no ankle support or stability, and my calves felt like they were shredded after my initial run. I gave them a week's go and now I just use them for gardening & mowing.

Having been a runner myself in past life (not anymore sadly), when I used to run 20-30 miles a week myself, I can tell you that shoes like this will cause problem early on unless you break them in slowly. No support means you have to start running short distances on them, around 3 miles at most in the beginning, and work your way up from there. Whenever I used to run in my vibrams, I use to have pain in the calf rest of the day after 3 and a half miles of run, even though I regularly ran 7 miles a day in normal shoes without any issues. Disclaimer: I have no experience with these particular shoes, so can't say if they are kate perry awful or GnR great.
