That is one big ass TV.  Is the price atypical for the size?  (I have no idea).

I bought this TV on Black Friday 2012 from Costco for $1,499, it was it's first day out. Original list on it was $1,999, just to be clear. Great TV, can't miss with it.

please consider staying away from this particular model, I am on my 3rd set so far (vizio replacements) for a white spot issue that plagues these sets. See the avsforum link above.
