Hand crank included?

... though it's certainly cheap enough if you're looking for the basics.

CPU is similar to a bay trail atom tablet cpu, with graphics that are slower than ivy bridge.  It's cheap but this is basically a big netbook.

If I'm going to lug a 15" around I want a little more horsepower, probably worth getting into the $300 range.

Nice enough deal though.

As a fool who purchased an extreme low end Toshiba, buyer beware. In the first year I had to replace the screen which was cracked out of box but since it was bought as a gift and not opened till past the retailers return window it had to go to Toshiba for warranty and they denied the claim and wanted more than I paid for the laptop to replace the screen. So I had them ship it back, contested the charge for the laptop (and won) and then replaced the screen. Only to have to replace the lower shell of the laptop 6 months later with a reinforced one because their design was so weak.

Fry's usually has similarly specs models for 238 but with double the ram + optical drive. Usually every other ad or so better to hold out.

I see that the PC OEM "Race to the Bottom" is alive and well. Sadly.

Non-user-upgradable laptops suck. Really badly. I don't know why they make them. Especially ones, with less-than-necessary specs.

Edit: This laptop should be $150. $180 at most.

Definitely a throw-away laptop.

So, why did you green the deal?
