I put in random (anthing) password with my email and I checked off 5 mags and WSJ. It was approved. I think you can check them all.

I left it blank and it worked.

It worked like a champ for me when posted 6 weeks ago, got one WSJ for me, another for a friend. Subscription arrived the next week!

Looks like the well has run dry for me. I've renewed a number of times. Now I can't get a new sub under any rewards program.

Shoot, looks like it ended. Link says I can't advantage of this. Such a steal, would have loved a WSJ sub!

Never worked for me. Had WSJ check on this recently because I've waited patiently since August. They responded they have no record of it at all.

I posted this on another thread however it seems to be dead, so I was wondering if anyone here might have some insight.

I am thinking of signing up for this deal for both print and online offered for $1 for 12 weeks or $12 for 12 weeks, whichever. I would have the print delivered to my house & my son would read online on his tablet. I really don't care to read it at all, the only reason I would have the print version delivered was because I had read here before on one of the way back topics that you could put your print version on hold and continue to read online without using up your weeks. You would therefore be essentially extending your time that you had your subscription.

Does es anyone have any knowledge or experience with doing this? How often, and for how long can you put your print subscription in hold? Can you still read online during that time? Does it really not count towards your 12 weeks? Seems like that would be a really good deal!

rated:
Don't know about the hold thing, but why pay $12 when you can get it for free? You can still try the hold thing if you like; no loss if it doesn't work out.

Oh, I would do free in a heartbeat, if I knew how! I tried the RG while the link had WSJ on it yea! I got the confirmation page from them.

However waiting forever, no WSJ BOO! I finally called WSJ & there was no record of a subscription. Double boo.

Now ow I cannot find an active link with WSJ. I really only want the online addition, however I am willing to get the print as well if that works to get the online.

And a big thank you for your response. It is much appreciated.

The online edition seems to come automatically with the print version if you include your email with your request for the subscription. Hope that helps...

eta: I don't see a current offer out for WSJ to try resubmitting your request...maybe watch for remick to post a new one?
