Sorry, after examining the whole thread, I forget the first part, could you repeat it please? But quieter: I have a hangover.
He has to bold it becasue too many idiots can't read. I'm sure he still gets dozens of request for scans and people PM'ing him to ask why they don't see the rebates on the site yet.

Pretty decent list.
Do you know if any of their 32MB Secure Digital cards will be on sale?
I think this is YMMV. Sometime COMPUSA smart enough to find out that they have rebate and Best Buy don't. So they sometime argue that their $90 rebate is replacement for the PM. I am going to try anyway (no harm in doing that)

Note: Antec SX1040BII Performance II 400-watt ATX Tower Case
Is not black at all it's dark or charcoal gray. I just bought one last week for $100 including shipping & emailed Antec with my disappointment. they said.. "When we decide on the color, we feel that this blackness in color is more appropriate based on our survey."
So if you looking for a dark or charcoal gray case this is the one. If you want a black case & get this one I hope you have some painting skills.

The Kogi website hardly instills confidence. No specs or anything. Anyone know the response time of these things?
UPDATE: Specs seem to indicate a 45ms response. Pooh!
I will never purchase another product from Crap USA w/ a rebate. I haven't gotten my rebates yet, and it's been 9 months. Calls do nothing. On another of their rebates, I had a product that had a CUSA rebate AND a mfg rebate, and CUSA denied the rebate b/c I sent the original UPC to the mfg. They advertised both rebates and told me that a copy would be ok!!! I think they suck with rebates.

Per G-Vision's site, this monitor lists a 20ms response time(may not be total though as someone said it was 45ms) Gvision
As far as rebates go, I've gotten them all from CUSA. If you do have problems, it wouldn't hurt to go in and speak to a manager, sometimes they refund the rebate amount if they can confirm you never got it(big YMMV, but I've seen it happen).
It may be more helpful to just post the ad details rather than trying to suggest deals. BB will not cut their own throats to do a PM (as people are finding!), and there are very few of the pre-Xmas BB 10%-off coupons knocking around at this this stage.

Ummmm, Doesn't CompUSSR charge you a 15% restocking fee when you return non defective items??? I hope you don't get burned on this-

I always follow the form instructions to the T and almost always have several I have to call about. Worst rebate performance of any company. Period. Canned air rebates seem to be the worst. maybe they think that you'll use up the can of air and not be able to return and complain at them.. Of course, where the heck are my nokiapromos.com and 7eleven rebates that were sent out like beginning of Dec? Nokia is probably running second worst to crampusa.

No intention to thread crap jwong great deals as always but to note that KOGI are not good monitors, read web reviews if you don't believe. Now Rochelle rebate are no go as well, if they are New Rochelle.

Once I sued the (store) manager in the local small claims court for my outstanding rebates, he reimbursed me immediately and asked to withdraw.
He agreed to pay all the costs that had occured (filing fees etc) too.
ConUSA is very aware of their rebate situation and constantly bounce people off with their "manufacturer" or "rebate center" excuses.
It's like the pinball game. Only you are the ball.
This seems to pay off for them, as the majority will get annoyed and stops to pursue their rebates.
Only a determined action will help, I didn't know that until I did it myself.
ConUSA + New Rochelle = an icy dealbreaker.

I wonder if the rebate will be gambling for CompactFlash again if it is Memorex (like was posted in the locked thread). One of the previous FAR CompUSA/Memorex deals (I think it was for Black Friday sales) said in the fine print of the rebate form that only the first 20 rebate submissions processed from each store would be honored. It said nothing about that in the ad, and it looked like more than 20 were being sold. I'm not even sure if that would be legal in some states. It is too soon for me to know if I am one of the 'lucky winners' of this rebate.
You can check Memorex rebate status here, btw: orderstatus.memorex.young-america.com/LookupByStreetNumberZipCode.asp
I feel COMPUSA rebates are at least more likely to show up eventually than Fry's though.
COMPUSA rebates are horrible. The RiteAid.com rebate is the best in the Nation. COMPUSA should pay more attention on the rebate problems and complains from Fatwallet fans.

Frys' rebate is not that horrible.
I have gotten my $10 rebate check from a Daewoo Microwave, no problem. I even got email confirmation after they received my rebate submission.

This is a really wonderful idea. Have you heard of anyone else trying it? Of course, I live in the same county as TCA.. I could just sue them DIRECTLY, instead.

Yes, my former neighbour did nearly the same after I told him about my success.
He had moved to another county but called the manager of the original store and told him he wants to sue him.
The manager also settled ($130 Acomdata + $40 of other stuff). We all had the copies etc. (Some of the rebates even showed as approved but were never payed out.)
It seems that those managers value their time more than these rebates.
It is really sad but this seems to be the only way to deal with companies like ConUSA.
Frys is similar in not paying the rebates, I agree, but they have an in-store person who took care of my rebates after I got a runaround too.
Ergo: in our opinion the total time wasted and the nerves and the frustration in getting the rebates is not worth it when dealing with ConUSA and Frys.
But everybody has to make their own experiences I guess.

Even I opened 32MB Memorex (misleading propaganda) and threw the box away (lucky the code still there), I returned it. Willing to sacrify $2.5, than overpaid with that price. With $20 you can buy 64MB SD at eCost.com.
I saw a guy in front of me returned with the reason "Exchanged it, doesn't work on my Axim" The CSR said he had no more, so took the item back and gave a guy full refun. If want, and haven't returned your try it.
