<< David, I have a question vis FAT CASH -and- the links at the beginning of this thread. Forgive me but I've never done Fat Cash before.
Okay, if I wanted to use, for example, the 5% AAA discount — and I wanted my B&N purchase to qualify for FAT CASH — will I be credited by linking right out of this thread? I just signed up for FAT CASH and haven't done my first order yet, but I want to be prepared when B&N has their next 10-OFF-50 coupon (which I hope will be this Spring, like it was last year).
Thanks

In general, you can only get one referral credit per purchase. A referral credit is received by following a particular link. Both FatCash and the AAA discount operate via referrals, so generally, you can only get one. There have been various FW members who have found ways of opening multiple windows in various sequences in an effort at getting both to credit. I would not rely on this, nor expect to succeed.
In short, you can't double dip. Though FatCash is great, in this case the coupon (5% instant) beats 4% in 90 days.
Thank you David. May I please clarify (sorry, but it is confusing to me how the CODES in this thread relate to FAT CASH eligibility).
Let's say your thread lists a 10-OFF-50 code, but the FW link-from page for B&N doesn't — it only shows 5%/5-OFF codes: Could I
1) write down that 10-OFF-50 code 2) go to the link-from page of FW 3) link to B&N from any of the "X-OFF" offers there 4) purchase my $50 in books at B&N 5) use the 10-OFF-50 code posted in your thread,

. . . and still get FAT CASH?

1) If your goal is to get FatCash combined with one of the coupons from this thread, it works (though officially FatWallet says "Many merchants allow additional coupon or discount codes to be entered at checkout. These are separate from your FatCash rebate! While this frequently adds up to maximum savings, please be aware that codes from sources outside FatWallet Deals or FatWallet Cash Back may void FatCash rebates. Codes posted by users in our forums, for example, may in some cases cancel out FatCash."
2) If your goal is to get FatCash, combined with a coupon from this thread, and a coupon from the FW BN page, you will NOT be able to, because the "coupon" links from the FW BN page are simply codes that show in a popup windows, which you have to enter during checkout. In short, the best you can do is either FatCash and a coupon code, or AAA Link and a coupon code.
Recieved this in an email.. its for memebrs.. it triples the discount..
>SPECIAL OFFER FOR NEW MEMBERS >TRIPLE YOUR MEMBER SAVINGS ONLINE >HURRY! Offer Expires 2/17/04 > >How to redeem this coupon: >Enter the coupon code ZZJYMTY at checkout.

This coupon works for members as stated, but it also works for non-members, as follows:
This coupon adds a discount equal to 2x (double) the discount given to members. Therefore, if you are a member, you get a 3x (triple) discount. If you're not, you get a 2x discount!
from what I can tell, the AAA link does nothing. I clicked it and tried a coupon, but it was the same as the regular site. They had something on the main page that said to enter in the first 6 digits for ur AAA card, but I think they require you to do it in the coupon box, making a regular coupon useless :-/
I was price checking on BN for Transformers, Season 3 Part 2. BN's price is over $16 higher for Transformers, Season 3 Part 2 than DeepDiscountDVD.com. OUCH!! If BN keeps raising their prices, they'll be higher than Borders pretty soon! Then again, maybe not
edit: Added links for your link freaks. You KNOW who you are.

No sh.it
LAWRENCE OF ARABIA on DVD, pathetically reduced to 32.99 is now not reduced whatsoever: MSRP of 39.99 now shows, phllllltttttt! BN can cough up a 10-OFF-50 or don't even waste my time (and all that does is bring them closer to what everyone else charges, they're still overpriced).

Using up the last of my B&N Rewards Certificates and then, strictly CASHBACK rewards, every month, right down to the penny (with my new Chase PerfectCard™ woo hoo!)
It's amazing what you can find by changing around a few numbers in a URL!Added!
Indeed, there are many coupons available by modifying the URL. I don't have the time to find them all, but if others do, post the links and I'll add them to the OP.
I've been looking for a deal on a book I want and saw the post about there being other coupons when you change the numbers at the end of the promo link, and found this one...
