I just got this in my E-mail, you can get 50 dollars GC when you open up a mastercard from BN. https://www.applyonlinenow.com/USapp/Ctl/redirect?CV_sourceCode=LJ8L&CV_MC=A000000XDW&CV_isBarnesAndNobleApp=Y Free money if always good especially on books.
Here's a coupon good for a single item in any B&M B&N. Expires 7/31. Says it can't be combined any other promotion so I don't know if you can use it on stuff like the Harry Potter (which is sure to be 30-40%, etc)
Fine print: Coupon valid through July 31, 2003 at Barnes & Noble bookstores. The additional 15% will be applied to any one item in the purchase. May not be used toward the purchase of electronic gift cards (and/or gift certificates) or Readers' Advantage memberships. Does not apply to past purchases and may not be combined with any other offer or promotion. Not valid at Barnes & Noble.com (www.bn.com) or at Barnes & Noble College Bookstores. Limit one coupon per person.
Just got an email that says they've upped the readers card discount to 10% until the 21st of July. No coupon code that I could see, so it should be stackable with anything else out there.
That $10 off $50 is a great coupon. It's almost like a 20% off coupon! Just used it with my Discover 7% cash back. I would have used fatcash, but I don't think you can use both FatCash and Discover cash back.
I have a question... I used my StudentAdvantage Card for $3.00 off and the SURVEY8 code for $10.00 off my $60.00 purchase... At the top of the checkout page, it showed my total discount was 13.00, all fine and dandy, but how come at the bottom it only shows my $3.00 discount? I don't know if it'll charge me the full amount of the discounted amount, so I haven't submitted my order. Any ideas?
One other thing... Even if I just use the SURVEY8 $10 off $50 coupon, it doesn't show up at the bottom of the screen, so the stacking isn't the real issue. Also, can I use CashBack that I get from my CreditCard along with FatCash for this purchase?
So, would it be possible to use StudentAdvantage for 5% off, then the $10 coupon, then the 4.4% cashback from FatCash AND the 1.5% for my PayPal MC???
thanks for the awesome thread. with the 10 off 50 and free shipping, I just saved 50 bucks off of a $90 purchase I had already made in-store. the price of the books online were $40 less then add the 10 off and shazam $50 back in my pocket
