Stacking codes It is not possible, by any means, to stack codes at JCPenney.com. You can't use both a free shipping code AND a discount code. You just have to pick the one that saves you the most money and go with one code. Believe me, I'll make a very big deal out of it if this changes or if I ever find a way around it.
Furniture Codes do NOT work on furniture, unless it is very specifically stated! As of 10/8/2005 it has been 2 1/2 years since ANY code worked with furniture. This includes discount codes AND free shipping codes. This is addressed MANY times throughout the thread, but it continues to be asked constantly. I urge you to read the thread before asking questions.
How to use promotional codes at JCPenney.com: 1. After adding items to your shopping bag, proceed to the shopping bag page. Select "yes" under "Discounts" to indicate that you are using a promotional code. 2. Enter code in the "promotional code" box on the following page. Your discount, if applicable, will be reflected on the order summary page at final checkout in the "Disc Amount" column. If you don't see the discount prior to checkout, you will not receive it.
Many of the codes have the following fine print or something very similar. Are you able to call them to get the BIGDEAL code to work? as if I placed a phone order? Or was this online only?
EDIT: I called tonight to place my order via the phone.. Was told the selected few who received this deal via postcard also received a 9 digit code that was needed in order to get the bigdeal to work. Some people were able to get it to work online but they have since fixed that and you now need the 9 digit code.

The code needs to be made to work online.I think thats still very possible,IMO its a matter of finding the right quirk in the system to make it work.Its still valid according to the date for the sale.
