Ihave ordered more than 15 glasses from zenni and all have been great. Mine are single vision so I can get$8 in all types. My husband needs bifocals so I believe its $25 more and progressives are $37. He loves his progressives. You can get tint for sunglasses, add $5. Now your glasses are only as good as the prescription you enter, so be careful with the numbers. And you have to go else where to fit them to your head. My eye dr does it for free. |

Ordered a couple pairs of sunglasses the other day. Got a call from the Citi Fraud Dept asking me if I authorized the charge. Guess Zenni threw up some type of red flag for them. Not sure why, I've ordered from Zenni at least 5 times over the past 2 years. |

my son would forever lose his glasses... Zenni has been a life saver for me. I've ordered probably 6-8 pairs over the last few years. the only thing I dont like about them is its very hard to keep the lens clean - you really need to use a wipe with a solvent - just rubbing with a cloth wont do it. Otherwise, I give Zenni one huge thumbs up. |

Has anyone ordered from EyeBuyDirect.com? The glasses look nice and you can not beat the BOGO. |

beavis39 said:Has anyone ordered from EyeBuyDirect.com? The glasses look nice and you can not beat the BOGO. Girlfriend got some there. She intentionally got the largest glasses they had ("Frank," I believe) because she thought they were funny. I think she was happy with them. At two for one, I'd say it's worth a shot. Definitely find out your pupillary distance if you can. I just picked some up from costalcontacts. Not sure what to make just yet. Looks like they cut the lenses just slightly too large for the frames, and the frames don't quite want to screw down all the way. Definitely a good bargain, though, if you get some of the cheap frames. For what it's worth, I have terrible vision (-8), and I'm not entirely sure I can tell the difference between the standard lenses and the high-index ones. If you have a lower prescription, I probably wouldn't blow the cash on them (unless you want the impact resistance and UV resistance of polycarbonate, which is definitely worth it if available). |

I have bought 4 pairs of glasses from Zenni and a friend just bought one pair on my recommendation. Both he and I are very pleased with the service and the product. The value is incredible vs. the crazy pricing you find for glasses locally. The best pair I have received were plastic framed Ray Ban-style sunglasses. These fit perfectly and the prescription is the best I've had. I recommend plastic frames that do not require "setup" vs. metal frames that do. But even Zenni's metal frames are workable. |

We just bought 10 sets from zenni. This makes 16 perfect sets between my wife and me. They are getting better and better frames every time I look. Several have broken (kids), 4 were sunglasses, and 2 were so ugly that they are banished to a drawer (even though they looked good online). No regrets here--and all that for less than one pair of glasses at retail--cannot beat that! |

Placed my first order to try them with some skepticism. Received eyeglasses in three weeks and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of frames and workmanship. I will order again, especially if they add more frame styles that I like. |

I ordered a pair of the 15 dollar glasses in 2007. They broke on me and I went to back to a pair that were over 10 years old. I finally broke down and ordered a pair last Friday. Just on a whim I called Zenni and asked them could I order just the same exact frames as the one that broke because the lens was stil intact. They said yes and that it would be 50% of the cost and that I can add them on to the order I did on Friday. If they shipped together they would waive the shipping and handling on the second pair. I hope they come in two weeks cause the old ones are truly ugly. |

Dumb question......what prescription would I enter to order blank or non-prescription lens? Optically zero. Say I just wanted glasses as a prop. Is there an actual prescription or correct terminology for "Zero" lenses? |

I just put in all 0's. But you need to provide them with the PD. This way you get a plain lens. |

. Does anybody have a fraud contact email or webpage for Paypal? I have bought many pairs of glasses from Zennioptical without problems, but made the mistake of buying a pair from "GlassesUnlimited." GlassesUnlimited manufactured an incorrect pupillary distance and are refusing to send a replacement pair. I have had the glasses measured by my optometrist, GlassesUnlimited still won't replace, offering a '50% discount on my next order'. What a sick joke. Unfortunately I paid by Paypal rather than by creditcard, and there doesn't seem to be any way of reversing the charge since 45 days have passed from the date of the order. It took me more than that to realize GlassesUnlimited had no intention of correcting their faulty product... |
