To find out who made yours, simply look at the numbers
below and to the left of the Part Number. If it reads 5395 6040
then you have Ricoh...if it is anything else then you are probably
stuck with CMC.

Its still 3/13.....

The coupons stacked, but the price is 89.99, not 79.99.

This media isnt very good according to the reviews at dvdrhelp.com

That worked out great!

Ended up being $75 for the 100.

Thanks!

I have a lite-on 8x from the last OM deal it does - and + So which should i get ?

OfficeDepot brings me back a price of 89.97 for both types of media. Did you do anything special to get the $79 price?

$79 total is OK for 100 media, but not as hot as $59 would be.

Edit: Regarding media quality, if the DVD+R are RICOH disks this would be a good deal. I'd frown if they were CMC, though.

Would this memorex, or would the Staples TDK be a better deal?

Spikey, get the + one!
I heard that Memorex 4X DVD+R media can be burnt to 8X using the 8X DVD+R burner.

usual belief is
-R for DVD movie
+R for DVD data backup

Sorry if I wasn't clear before, the deal starts Sunday(3/14). I'm not sure when OD updates their prices. I bought some +R 25pk a few months ago and they were ricohjpn01, hopefully the 50pk are the same. I heard that the -R are compatible with more DVD players, but my +R writer can burn DVD+R as a DVD-ROM (Bit setting) so it plays in an older DVD player that the -R didn't play on.

What if i use +r for movie, any bad?
BTW: I alway use +r. Some movies I burnt when played on my panasonic dvd player have unstable picture. But my computer play them fine. Is this because of +r or dvd area code incompatible?

That because the media that you used was maybe unreliable.

I've been backing up 300+ DVDs using DVD+R. I only use name brands, like: TDK, Memorex & Fuji
