The code is your login.

Got to pay for 3 months supply up front.
Also there is a rebate for free Home kit if your purchase from an Authorized retailer does this count?

I have had XM for a couple of years (a single Delphi Skyfi). Can I order this and add it to my account? Would I have to pay $10/mo for the first 3 months?
From xmradio site "If you are adding your 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th XM radio you will automatically be signed up on the XM Family Plan for $6.99 per month per additional radio, billed quarterly"

I don't think so, since it says the rebate is not valid with other promotions. But... I guess it's worth a shot, all you end up wasting is postage fees.
In for 2 - I already have one and an XM account, so hopefully they'll see that and I won't have to call to get the whole family plan charge thing straightened out.

You need a stereo in your car - for this particular kit, you need an FM radio and a cigarette lighter slot. The Roady has no speakers of its own, so it needs your radio.

Good deal. Any idea if this comes with a cassette adapter? My car can use one and I understand it gives better sound.

Cassette adapter will give you the BEST sound. If your car has a cassette, you can usually pull the trim off & fish the wire behind to hide it. I got mixed results with the wireless FM.
There is a 'Free Roady Home Adaptor Kit with purchase of Delphi XM Roady Receiver' rebate form on their website but require '1. Purchase an Delphi XM Roady Receiver from an authorized XM retailer between May 9, 2004 and July 10, 2004'. I wonder if this will fly? I already ordered a home kit but would like to have a 2nd for the office.
Update!
I received email this morning (6/26) from Rebateshq.com on the home kit rebate:
ROADY HOME KIT Rebate Information For: 6323xxxx Promotion: Free Roady Home Kit with Purchase of Delphi XM Roady Receiver Submission Type: MAIL Date Received: 06-26-2004 Status: Processing Rebate Status Detail: Your rebate is valid and is in the final stages of processing. You should receive your rebate per the terms and conditions listed on the coupon.
Honestly I didn't think this rebate will come throught because of the wording on the promotion issue but what the hack for the cost of the stamp.

You all are giving XM too much credit....
In my dealing with XM's "Listener Care", it has never turned out as it should be. If you jump on this awesome deal, and already have an XM account, don't be suprised if you end up with a 2nd XM account. Don't take my word for it - go to xmfan.com, clubxm.com, etc and read for yourself.
Also, if you purchase your Roady from an authorized reseller, you are definately eligable for the free home kit. Just follow the instructions from the XM web site.

Does XM home site count as authorized reseller because that is the only site we can get the $49 package deal?

You are right but if you call them at the 800 number they will correct it.
I just got Sirius a month or two ago and am ready to try out XM.
Anyone want to buy my Sirius setup - complete with 11-14 months of prepaid service?

More like you are committing to 6 months of service (with payment for 3 months upfront):
You are required to purchase three months of XM service when you purchase a radio through this promotion and to keep a minimum of six months continuous XM service. Failure to maintain an XM Consumer Plan or XM Family Plan monthly subscription for six months will result in a charge of $60.
Thank you for your interest in purchasing an XM Delphi Roady. Unfortunately, the link to set this new radio up on the Family Plan at the time of purchase does not work because this is a promotion. Purchasing on a promotion requires that you purchase the first three months of service at the time the order is placed, and that you pay regular price for those three months. However, at the end of the first three months you can call XM Listener Care and add the new radio to the same account as your existing radio, and then you will qualify for Family Plan billing.
If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I am waiting form someone to integrate a GPS with these XM or satellite radio stuff.
Even if I have to spend the $10 a month for each of the two new units for the first three months before transferring it to the family plan, its still worth it. These radios are great.
Sweet deal -- I got in yesterday just minutes after selling my Sirius satellite radio.
God I miss it already and it has been just one day!
Now, can I go back to this link and order the home kit for (I believe) the $20 price?

Just picked one up for my parent's motorhome. Thanks OP!
Package came in today but only received the Home Kit but no radio. Then called fulfillment ctr and csr said that the radio is on backorder due to huge sale on this promo. Did anyone received their radio yet?
I also received my XM Home kit without receiving the receiver. I also noticed that XM charged me for the 3 months of service already even though I am not able to use it.
